Call for Signature Artist Submissions for Coral Springs Festival of the Arts

Calling all Artists

(Coral Springs, FL, August 1, 2023) Calling all Artists! The Coral Springs Festival of the Arts wants to see your artwork. The Festival has opened submissions for original artwork entries for the Annual Signature Artist Competition. The winning art piece will represent the upcoming Festival held in March of 2024. Submission deadline is midnight on September 30th.

Work submissions should represent the Coral Springs Festival of the Arts and artistic lifestyles with original voice and unique style. Sculpture as well as all 2 dimensional fine art originals are accepted. Maximum size of original work, including frame, cannot exceed 64” or be smaller than 32” in any direction. The winning submission must be on site throughout the festival weekend. For more submission guidelines and entry form, click here. No submission will be accepted after 12am on September 30th.

Winning Artist will receive full recognition of work in all promotional materials and media, a booth at the Annual CS Festival of the Arts, a stipend of $500.00 as well as a spot in our virtual gallery on www.csfoa.org.

The 18th Annual Festival of the Arts at The Walk of Coral Springs will be held on March 16th and 17th, 2024. The Festival will feature a professional juried arts and crafts show with over 200 fine artisans and crafters and in addition, will host Gardenfest. Throughout the weekend, patrons will enjoy a wide variety of live music, dance exhibitions, theater and literary performances and a children’s area.

Coral Springs Craft Guild

Coral Springs Craft Guild is celebrating our 46 th year of crafting, and fellowship in our monthly meetings! We are looking forward to our Annual Craft Show October 6 & 7, and our annual participation in the Festival of the Arts!!

Come visit with us for our monthly crafting programs! Our programs are free and include complete step by step instructions and some materials. For our August program, we will be having fun with Zentangles. We invite you to join us for that fun!

Our website, CoralSpringsCraftGuild.com , will provide you with information about the Guild, our free programs, our annual scholarships given to high school seniors, our Community Service projects, our participation in the annual Festival of the Arts, membership, and our annual Craft Show. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7 pm. Normally we meet at Cypress Hammock Park, but it is temporarily closed so we may be at Sartory Hall for our August meeting. The Coral Springs Craft Guild was excited to present 2 scholarships of $500 each to 2 Coral Springs seniors for their artistic endeavors. First Place, went to Madalen Erez, a senior at Coral Springs Charter School. Madalen submitted 5 amazing photographs. Remarks from some of the judges were that there was so much talent in that room, and their high scores went to these photos because they were so emotionally moving!

1st place winner

Second Place, and recipient of the Michele Pennetti Memorial Scholarship was awarded to home schooled Sarah Salazar. Sarah submitted 3 works in watercolor, charcoal and colored pencils. Her detail work was grately appreciated and recognized by our judges.

Both artists have received their Scholarships and we wish them well in their future endeavors!
