Connie Francis to Appear as Literary Guest Speaker at Coral Springs Festival of the Arts 2019
(Coral Springs, Florida, November 26, 2018) The Coral Springs Festival of the Arts is happy to announce Connie Francis as the 2019 Literary Guest Speaker at the Festival’s Literary Workshop. The Workshop will be held on Friday, March 15 th from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts. Ms. Francis will discuss her newly released autobiography “Among My Souvenirs – The Real Story”, which includes stories about her life including time spent with Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and Ed Sullivan. The event is free to the public, however, due to seating limitations, those wishing to attend will require a ticket from the Festival’s online registration which will begin on February 1st.
Connie Francis is best known as a chart-topping female vocalist during the 1950s and 1960s, with international hits “Who’s Sorry Now”, “Where the Boys Are” and “Everybody’s Somebody’s Fool” to name a few. Francis has also appeared on screen with actors such as Paula Prentiss, George Hamilton and Jim Hutton.
The Coral Springs Festival of the Arts is a nonprofit 501C3 corporation dedicated to raise awareness of the arts and culture in northwest Broward, and to entertain, educate and inspire its attendees.
