The Coral Springs Festival of the Arts is excited to announce that the 2025 Festival Literary Workshop will feature poet and playwright Darius V. Daughtry in an interactive poetry writing workshop. The Coral Springs Festival of the Arts is honored to partner with the Broward County Library to bring this FREE event to our community. Accompanied by members of Art Prevails Project, Daughtry will guide participants from idea to creation with a series of exercises, prompts and live demonstrations from some of South Florida’s best poets.
This year’s Literary Workshop, The Poet Within with Darius Daughtry, will be held in-person at the Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs on Sunday, March 9th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Tickets are not required but seating is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.
Author of And the Walls Came Tumbling, as well as numerous highly acclaimed plays, Daughtry facilitates with an engaging flair that makes creative writing accessible to all levels. Mr. Daughtry has read or facilitated for the Miami Book Fair, U.S. Naval Academy, TedX, the University of Florida and more.
