Volunteer for the 5th Annual
Coral Springs Festival of the
Arts!
Saturday & Sunday, March 21st & 22nd 2009
The CS Festival of the Arts planning committee is looking for volunteers to
assist with the 5th Annual Coral Springs Festival of the Arts on March 21st
and 22nd at “The Walk” on University Drive. This is a great
opportunity for all of us in Coral Springs to showcase our “hometown
spirit” to the thousands of visitors that come to the festival. We
are looking for volunteers to assist with the following:
- manning the merchandise sales booths (adults only)
- assisting with the children booths (primarily teens)
- artist hospitality (primarily teens)
- greeting visitors or checking parking passes ** (teens & adults
needed)
- setup/breakdown (strong, energetic teen or adults)
- and various other items
** We are especially in need of volunteers for these important tasks. Those
who volunteer to greet visitors or check parking passes will receive a free
festival t-shirt. All other volunteers will receive a coupon
for a festival t-shirt at a discounted price. **
Shifts
Please indicate what times/days you are available (Shifts typically go from
7:30 am – 5:30 pm on Saturday/Sunday, March 21st & 22nd. ) Shifts
for greeting visitors, checking parking passes & distributing flyers
are typically 3-4 hours long and start at 7:30 am or 8:00 am. In addition,
we are looking for at least 4 male teen volunteers for setup/breakdown for
the following times:
Friday 4 pm – 7 pm;
Saturday morning 6:30
am – 9:30 am;
Sunday 5 pm – 8:00 pm.
Students can earn up to 20 volunteer hours by participating. All proceeds
from the festival go to the arts in Coral Springs.
